Spondylolisthesis

Spondylolisthesis is a condition where a vertebra (bony segment that composes the spine) in the lumbar spine (lower back) slips forward over the vertebra below it. This condition can vary in severity from no symptoms to severe presentation of symptoms.

Symptoms of Spondylolisthesis
  • Lordosis (sway in the curvature of the back)
  • Lower back pain
  • Muscle tightness
  • Pain radiating through the leg
  • Stiffness
  • Tenderness in the area of the affected vertebrae
