Richard V. Buonocore, MD

Richard V. Buonocore, M.D., is a neurosurgeon with a special interest in stereotactic radiosurgery. He joined Neurosurgical Associates of Central Jersey in 2019.

Hailing from Pennsylvania, Dr. Buonocore received his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Villanova University in Villanova, PA. He completed medical school at Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Buonocore then completed two residencies—one in internal medicine and one in neurosurgery—both at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Before coming to Neurosurgical Associates of Central Jersey, Dr. Buonocore has held positions at practices in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

He is a diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and a member of:

Dr. Buonocore is a past president of the Delaware County Medical Society and has been affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health in Somerset since 2019.
