Neurosurgical Associates of Central Jersey, P.A., remains committed to providing you with personalized and compassionate care. This pandemic is no exception. As life begins to return to normal, we continue to make necessary adjustments to ensure a safe environment for you.
COVID Testing for Elective Surgeries
Prior to surgery, patients will be tested for COVID-19. Patients will then be instructed to self-quarantine until the surgery appointment date to avoid contracting the virus after their testing. Patients will also be screened for symptoms on the day of the procedure. Any patient who tests positive or shows symptoms of COVID-19 will have the surgery rescheduled.
Your Health and Safety is Our First Priority
To continue to maintain the health and safety of our patients and staff, the precautionary measures we implemented in our office in accordance with state and federal laws as well as CDC recommendations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 will remain in place. They include:
- Increasing the frequency in which our office is cleaned, with special attention to the waiting area, countertops, exam chairs, restrooms, door handles and all common points of contact.
- Requiring staff members who are experiencing any symptoms of the virus or if they have a cough, cold or fever, to stay home.
- Screening patients for COVID symptoms prior to their appointments and rescheduling them as necessary
- Limiting visitors by asking that patients please come to appointments without children and limit accompanying guests to one
